We pioneer the advancement and commercialization of quantum technologies.
MIMOS Quantum Intelligence is the country's dedicated unit for the advancement and commercialization of quantum technologies. We bring together hardware, software, cryptography, and applied research under one roof, with our goal: meet national strategic priorities and global demand.
MIMOS Quantum Intelligence is the special business unit inside MIMOS Berhad — Malaysia's national applied R&D centre — chartered to advance and commercialize quantum technology.
Our work bridges three worlds: quantum research, applied engineering, and commercial product. The MQI unit was formed precisely to keep these worlds in contact — so a breakthrough in the lab finds its way to a customer, and a problem in the field finds its way back into research.
We work with the algorithms, run the hardware, secure the networks, and train the people who will run them tomorrow.
We use quantum where it wins, classical where it wins, and AI where the two combine. Outcomes over orthodoxy.
The biggest deliverable a quantum programme produces is people. Our training arm exists because of this.
Post-quantum cryptography, QKD interfaces, and benchmarking aligned with international standards bodies.
From post-quantum networks to optimization, AI, and sensing. One partner for your quantum journey.
Malaysia's national applied R&D centre is formed under the Ministry of Science, Technology & Innovation.
By building on its strengths in photonics, MIMOS started research in quantum technology with quantum communication - a technology used for secure information transmission.
MIMOS launches the Quantum Intelligence Centre (QIC) to serve as Malaysia’s first national facility and platform for applied quantum R&D.
QIC transforms into the dedicated MIMOS Quantum Intelligence (MQI) business unit with a commercialization mandate.
Four technology offerings spanning across three quantum domains in active development through the efforts of our engineers, researchers and partners.
From post-quantum networks to optimization, AI, and sensing — our services can accelerate your journey with quantum technology.
All solutions are in development
A unified quantum-safe key lifecycle: generating high-quality keys, distributing keys securely and managing their use across protected network services.
Enables the generation of high-quality keys.
Distributes keys securely between endpoints.
Manages how keys are used across protected network services.
A practical optimisation service using hybrid and quantum-inspired methods on conventional infrastructure for scheduling, routing and resource-allocation problems.
Scheduling shifts or jobs, routing and sequencing deliveries, selecting the best set of items within a budget, and partitioning a network.
An independent verification gate runs first. If the translated maths doesn't provably match the problem you described, no solver runs — and it tells you exactly why.
You describe your problem in plain terms and upload your data; the platform does the quantum modelling. A human still approves the key steps.
Every run also tries ordinary classical methods, and the report says the classical method won first when that is the honest result.
An AI-assisted development environment intended to help users explore, build and test quantum-computing workflows with a more accessible software experience.
Explains concepts at any level, plans your work as a step-by-step flowchart, writes and checks code, reads your files, and can also run the quantum optimization workflow on your behalf.
Quantum circuits, 3D Bloch spheres, flow and process diagrams, charts and histograms, and maths notation — all viewable and downloadable.
Agentic is a full-screen chat for an AI-first workflow; Dev is a full IDE with file explorer, editors and tools.
Photonic and quantum-sensing technology platform called Mi-BIOSCANS being explored for healthcare applications, with emphasis on precision measurement and non-invasive insights.
Mi-BIOSCANS looks for a specific DNA sequence. When that sequence is present, it base-pairs with matching strands attached to two components, a plasmonic nanoantenna (a gold nanoparticle that captures and concentrates light) and a molecular emitter (a light-emitting molecule), and holds them just a few nanometres apart.
At that distance, the gold's collective electron oscillations (plasmons) and the molecule's excited state (an exciton) exchange energy back and forth coherently. They hybridise into new, mixed light–matter states with their own distinct optical spectrum.
The instrument doesn't create the signal; it only records the optical change the chemistry has already produced. A chemometric model, software trained to recognise spectral patterns, then classifies the result.
Can be useful for applications such as identifying bacteria in saliva, where precise results could come from a simple, non-invasive sample.
Learning programs to grow national quantum capability, open to enterprises, government, and academic partners.
Program details are being finalised
A four-week ground-up immersion in the physics, mathematics, and primitives of quantum computing — designed for engineers, scientists, and analytical thinkers without a quantum background.
A practitioner-grade course on writing, compiling, and benchmarking real quantum software against MIMOS QCaaS. Tooling-first, with weekly lab assignments graded on real hardware.
A focused three-week course on the new cryptographic landscape — what to migrate, what to keep, what to layer. Two tracks: a deep technical track for engineers, a strategic track for security leadership.
A serious five-week curriculum on quantum ML — for engineers and researchers already fluent with classical ML who want to evaluate quantum advantage with honest baselines.
A two-day intensive for the people who decide whether quantum gets a budget. No equations, no hand-waving — just a clear-eyed view of what quantum can and can't do for your organisation in the next five years.
Typical engagements run from a 5-day intensive to a multi-cohort 12-month programme. We deliver in-person in Malaysia, remotely worldwide, or as a hybrid blend with hands-on QCaaS lab time.
Discuss a custom programTell us what you're trying to build. Whether it's a QKD pilot, a research collaboration, a custom training programme, or a live demonstration — we read everything that comes through.
