Founder and CEO at SDT Inc.
From a young age, he was fascinated by natural sciences and began his journey into quantum physics during high school by joining Professor Vladan Vuletić's laboratory in the Department of Physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
While pursuing his bachelor's and master's degrees in Physics and Electrical Engineering at MIT, he conducted research on key quantum computing technologies, including neutral atoms, diamond NV centers, ion traps, and photons, gaining a broad perspective and expertise in the quantum technology ecosystem.
Subsequently, he contributed to the advancement of quantum technology in South Korea at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST).
Building on the insights gained as a researcher, he founded SDT Inc. in 2017, embarking on a mission to integrate quantum technology into industry and everyday life. Leading the development of South Korea's first full-stack quantum computer and the expansion of the quantum technology ecosystem, he continues to drive SDT's growth.

Senior Lecturer, Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, UTM. Specially Appointed Associate Professor Center for Quantum Information and Quantum Biology (QIQB), Osaka University, Japan.
Dr. Yap Yung Szen is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Physics at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), specializing in quantum computing and electron spin resonance. He earned his Ph.D. in Science, focusing on Electron Spin Resonance Quantum Computing, from Osaka University. At UTM, Dr. Yap is a senior lecturer in the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science. He holds several notable positions, including Specially Appointed Associate Professor at Osaka University's Center for Quantum Information and Quantum Biology (QIQB) and Visiting Researcher at the Centre for Quantum Technologies in Singapore.
As Principal Investigator and Coordinator for the Malaysian Quantum Information Initiative (MyQI), he promotes quantum information science in Malaysia. Dr. Yap is also the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of AQSolotl Pte Ltd, a startup commercializing quantum control technologies, a spin-off startup of Nanyang Technological University and the National University of Singapore.

President of the Quantum Information Society of Korea, Center for Quantum Technology, KIST
Sang-Wook Han received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, South Korea, in 1999, 2001, and 2006, respectively. From 2006 to 2009, he worked for the Pixelplus Corporation, Gyeonggi, South Korea, where he is working on the development of various CMOS imagers.
From 2009 to 2012, he was a Research Staff with the Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology, Gyeonggi, where he engaged in researching high sensitivity CMOS imagers and photon counting X-ray detector. In 2012, he joined the Korea Institute of Science and Technology, Seoul, South Korea.
Currently, He is a president of quantum information society of Korea (QISK). His research interests include quantum information, especially quantum key distribution systems, quantum device, and quantum computing system.

Ramesh Kumar Nadarajah is a distinguished professional with over two decades of experience in the legal and technology sectors. He holds an LL.B from the University of London and a Master’s in Technology Innovation Management from the University of Sussex, specializing in intellectual property and technology management.
Previously serving as the Acting Head of the Techno Venture Sector, Ramesh was recently appointed as Chief Strategy Officer at MIMOS. Asmadi’s career has consistently focused on leveraging technology to drive growth and innovation. Muhammad Hafiz Laili is a visionary leader in AI Automation and Quantum Computing, holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universiti Tenaga Nasional Malaysia, specializing in Communication Systems.
From 2008 to 2010, during the Ninth Malaysia Plan (RMK-9), he was a key member of MIMOS Berhad’s photonics research team, contributing to advancements in integrated quantum photonics. His work in miniaturizing and scaling optical quantum circuits laid the foundation for quantum computing, communication, and sensing, positioning MIMOS at the forefront of photonics research.
Currently, Hafiz is the Head of the Quantum Intelligence Center at MIMOS Berhad, leading quantum technology R&D initiatives. His work focuses on quantum computing and quantum machine learning, driving innovation in sectors such as agriculture, finance, and healthcare. With a deep passion for research and development, Hafiz is committed to expanding the frontiers of quantum technology and AI, inspiring innovation across both academia and industry.
Director of Corporate Strategy, SDT Inc.
Graduating from Harvard University in 2012 with an A.B. in Psychology, Natasha developed a deep understanding of human decision-making and behavioral analysis—skills that have been instrumental in her career in corporate strategy and business development.
As Director of Corporate Strategy at SDT, she drives the company’s global quantum initiatives, overseeing international partnerships and managing collaborations on QKD, SWIR quantum dots, and QCC (QPU) projects. She also leads strategic planning for new ventures, guiding business proposals, government contracts, and overseas public sector bids to ensure SDT’s position in the global quantum ecosystem.
With 12 years of experience forging high-impact partnerships and scaling technology-driven businesses, Natasha has played a key role in securing millions in government funding and supporting SDT’s investment rounds. A former startup founder of Lyceum and seasoned business strategist, she brings deep expertise in investor relations, market expansion, and corporate growth.
Head of the Cryptography Department, Cybersecurity Malaysia
Hazlin Abdul Rani is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with over 17 years of experience in the industry, specialising in cryptography field. She currently serves as the Head of Cryptographic Development at CyberSecurity Malaysia and also holds the position of Lab Director for the Cryptographic Evaluation Laboratory (MyCEL), the only NVLAP-accredited cryptographic testing facility in Malaysia.
Recognizing the rapid advancements in quantum computing, Hazlin has been actively involved in post-quantum cryptography (PQC) initiatives, driving research and collaborating with experts to develop Malaysia’s PQC migration framework. Her efforts focus on ensuring cryptographic agility, transitioning towards quantum-safe cryptographic solutions, and safeguarding critical digital infrastructures against future quantum threats.
With her experience and commitment to advancing cryptographic security, Hazlin continues to spearhead national and international collaborations, contribute to research publications, and shape the future of cryptographic development in Malaysia and beyond
Head of Technology Diplomacy, MIMOS Berhad
Nordin Ramli is an accomplished researcher and scientist with over 20 years of experience in engineering and technology, media, and telecommunications. He holds a B.Eng degree in electrical engineering from Keio University, Japan, and M.Eng and Ph.D. degrees in electronic engineering from The University of Electro-Communications, Japan. He has completed his Master's in Business Administration at the Putra Business School in August 2023.
Nordin's expertise lies in telecommunications technologies such as cognitive radio, wireless mesh networking, IoT, and big data analytics, and digital transformation. He has published numerous journals and conference papers and holds pending patents in wireless communications. He currently leads the Technology Diplomacy Division at MIMOS Berhad, where he manages internal and external R&D programs and fosters partnerships with universities and technology providers.
Nordin has a proven track record in securing research funding and has supervised researchers and post-graduate students. He has also been involved in national initiatives and served on various committees related to AI, machine learning, and ICT.
Head, Center for Quantum Technology, Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST)
Dr. Yong-Su Kim is a distinguished researcher and academic in quantum physics, specializing in quantum optics and quantum information. Currently serving as the Director of the Center for Quantum Technology at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) and Professor at the Korea University of Science and Technology (UST).
He is also serving as the Academic Director of the Quantum Information Society of Korea. His work spans experimentalquantum optics in both discrete and continuous variable regimes.
Principal Investigator, Centre for Quantum Technologies, National University of Singapore (NUS)
LC Kwek is a Principal Investigator (PI) at the Center for Quantum Technologies, National University of Singapore and Professor of Education and Engineering, National Institute of Education, Singapore.
He is currently a co-Director of the Quantum Science and Engineering Centre at the Nanyang Technological University.
Dr Kwek has published more than 300 publications with several papers in Nature Photonics, Nature Communications, Physical Review Letters, Review of Modern Physics, and so forth.
He is the PI or co-PI for numerous projects totaling more than $25 million). He supervises nearly 30 PhD students.
He is also an elected Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, Institute of Physics (UK) and the Institute of Physics Singapore.
CEO and Co-founder Anyon Computing Inc.
Dr. Jie Luo (Roger) earned his PhD in Applied Physics from Caltech in 2020, conducting pioneering research on photonic and superconducting microwave quantum devices under Prof. Oskar Painter at the Institute for Quantum Information and Matter. His thesis on hybrid quantum system devices led to publications in Nature and Science, with US patents licensed to AWS, forming the foundation of its Quantum Hardware development roadmap.
He then joined UC Berkeley, working with Prof. Irfan Siddiqi through the U.S. DOE’s Advanced Quantum Testbed and Quantum System Accelerator programs, and was supervised by Dr. Jonathan Carter at LBNL. At Berkeley, Roger helped build one of the first U.S. DOE superconducting quantum computers, published work on parametric quantum processors and quantum-limit amplifiers, and contributed to launching the Quantum Networking Project (Quant-Net) with Mr. Inder Monga at LBNL.
Building on this experience, Roger co-founded Anyon Technologies with colleagues from Caltech and UC Berkeley. The company is dedicated to advancing quantum computing technologies, scaling innovations for next-gen AI, computational chemistry, drug design, and energy production, with the goal of delivering transformative commercial applications by 2030.
Chief Information Security Officer, Payments Network Malaysia Sdn Bhd
Mel is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Payment Networks Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (PayNet), providing overall oversight and governance on cybersecurity. He leads a team focusing on cyber risk management, data security and protection, data privacy, awareness, governance, and compliance. He also oversees the R&D on the impact of artificial intelligence and quantum computing on cybersecurity risks, champions the adoption of AI and GenAI tools, solutions, and use cases in PayNet and leads the development of GenAI use cases.
He also engages regularly with other CISOs in the financial industry as part of BNM’s CISO working group on AI and quantum computing risks. Most recently, he participated in the AI Governance Workshop organized by MyDIGITAL and the Institute of Strategic & International Studies (ISIS) Malaysia. Currently he is focused on building a robust QC strategy for PayNet, Malaysia's national payments network.
Before PayNet, Mel served in leadership roles in KPMG and EY, providing cybersecurity advisory services across various sectors. He has over two decades of experience and holds CISSP and CCSP certifications.
